Founded in Central London as Strappings London.
1939-1945
Supplies tensional strapping wire and equipment to ministries during WWII.
1950
Adds high tensile steel band strapping and tools to product range
1961
Company name is changed to Gordian Strapping Limited
1965
Add polypropylene strapping and tools to product range
1971
Becomes sole UK & Ireland distributor for StraPack Corp, a world leading producer of strapping machines
1984
Establishes partnership with OMS, a world leading manufacturer of pallet strapping, wrapping and hooding equipment
1985
Automatic strapping machine features in the James Bond film 'A View to a Kill' starring Roger Moore
1987
Relocates to Basingstoke and adds polyester strapping to product range
1993
Adds stretch film to product range

Gordian becomes apart of StraPack Corp

Goridan becomes sole distributor for PKG
