WEEE Take Back Scheme

Our strapping and stretch wrapping machines are covered by WEEE regulations and, once a machine has reached the end of its useful life, we will arrange collection of the item and disposal.

Please be aware that this doesn’t apply to our pallet strapping or hooding machinery.

Waste electrical & electronic equipment regulations 2006

The supplier will not be responsible for financing the cost of collection and treatment for products all the end of their life. The purchaser accepts full responsibility to finance the cost of collection and treatment for the product(s) purchased. If the purchaser resells or offers product(s) to another business or individual it is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure the end user of the product(s) accepts full responsibility for financing the cost of collection and treatment for the product(s). If the purchaser wants to dispose of the product(s), the purchaser must take it to an approved and authorised treatment facility.

Take-back scheme

When electrical or electronic equipment supplied by us has reached the end of its useful life, we will arrange collection of the item and disposal through an Approved Authorised Treatment Facility (AATF) or an Approved Exporter (AE).

There will not be any charge to our customers for the disposal of the items but we shall charge for the transportation of the item from the customer’s premises either directly to the AATF or back to our own premises for onward delivery to the AATF site. The cost of collection will be quoted at the time of collection and will depend on the current commercial vehicle operating costs.
