Alongside this, we are extremely proud to have been awarded Gold Status in sustainability – a first for Gordian – recognising our continued efforts to reduce our environmental impact, operate responsibly and drive meaningful improvements across the business and our supply chain.

What SafeContractor accreditation means
SafeContractor is one of the UK’s most widely recognised health and safety accreditation schemes. To achieve this certification, companies undergo a rigorous assessment of their HSE policies, documentation, training and on-site practices.
The process evaluates several key areas, including:

- Employee training and competence
- Risk assessments and safe systems of work
- Contractor management
- Operational compliance and incident reporting
The approval process typically takes several weeks and involves a detailed review of documentation, processes, and ongoing safety practices.
