Andy has been working for Gordian Strapping since February 2024. His role is to carry out services on contracted machines and attend breakdowns to keep customer production downtime to a minimum. The job involves organising his own workload, liaising with customers to organise visits and managing engineers’ stock – making sure it is replenished once used.

He is part of a fantastic team of engineers, that are always happy to spread and share knowledge, dealing with different customers in a wide range of industries. Every day is different and sometimes challenging – which he enjoys.

Outside of work, Andy is an avid Liverpool fan and attends many games. Plus, he enjoys attending gigs, music festivals and watching films. Andy is also married with three children (and has two dogs), which keeps him very busy. He loves watching his children do their activities, whether it’s rugby, acting, gymnastics or musical theatre.
