Polyester strapping
Polyester is a heavy-duty strapping material. It offers high break strength to hold your product securely and will maintain sufficient retained tension, even in extreme conditions. Our PET strapping is made from 100% recycled material and is 100% recyclable.
Polyester strapping is safe to use and extremely versatile, it’s non-toxic, has no sharp edges and will not rust.
At Gordian Strapping, polyester strapping is available in a core diameter of 406mm, plus various widths and thicknesses. Polyester strapping can even be used to reliably wrap heavier packs, such as house bricks and timber.
Polypropylene strapping
Polypropylene strapping is tough and has good elasticity, making it widely used with hand tools, semi-automatic strapping machines and automatic strapping machines.
Polypropylene strapping performs well for light, medium and sometimes heavy duty uses. Making it ideal for boxing food products, securing small packages, bundling newspapers and much more.

Steel strapping
Steel strapping is the heaviest duty of all strapping materials, and we recommend its use where high strength is necessary, such as for steel pipe, sheet or rod. As well as when the product is extremely sharp or hot.

Hot melt strapping
Hot melt polyester strapping is a strong and safe material, which delivers excellent results for a variety of applications, including securing compressed waste materials in baling machines, where the product is known as BALESTRAP.
It also works well in securing large products, such as drums or awkward palletised products, where the strap is used with heavy duty steel buckles, so it can be re-tensioned if the product moves.

Paper and Polypropylene Film Banding
Paper and polypropylene film banding is ideal to bundle smaller items together, or to provide an additional secure fixing, whilst using minimal packaging types.
Gordian stocks 29mm white and brown kraft paper banding tape, as well as PP film banding for the OB-360N, OB-560N and OB-360A Akebono banding machines, to ensure you get the best results. Both paper and polypropylene bands are 100% recyclable.
