Richard has worked at Gordian Strapping since 2017, having worked in the industry for 23 years as a service/installation engineer. He has a strong technical knowledge of strapping and wrapping equipment which he uses in his role as a Regional Sales Manager to ensure the correct equipment is offered to match a customer’s requirements. 

He finds Gordian is a great company to work for as there is such a strong team mentality which can be drawn upon to give each other support if and when required. There’s also some great characters to keep up the team morale. 

Richard loves seeing a project through from the initial discussions and conception with the customer, to the installation of the equipment by our engineering team, as this provides great job satisfaction and sense of achievement. 

Richard’s main hobby is cycling, either on a Mountain bike or road bike, with some running thrown in for good measure and attempting to compete in the odd XC MTB race when form allows. His favourite meal is a sirloin steak (medium), with chips and a peppercorn sauce and he would recommend Chris Froome’s autobiography, ‘The Climb’.
