Since joining Gordian Strapping in late 2023, Michael has embraced the fast-paced variety that comes with supporting customers across multiple industries. No two days are the same — and that’s exactly what keeps the role interesting.

“Every day brings a new challenge. I really enjoy the variety and the constant learning that comes with working across so many different sectors.”

Based in the Midlands, Michael splits his time between the office and being out in the field. A typical day includes responding to customer enquiries, following up on quotes, and visiting sites to ensure customers have everything they need. Whether it’s strengthening relationships with existing clients or identifying new opportunities, he is always looking for ways to add value and make things easier for customers.

Outside of work, Michael enjoys staying active — playing football twice a week, keeping fit at the gym, and occasionally playing golf (though he’ll admit a few more lessons wouldn’t hurt!). A big fan of live music and travel, he loves catching concerts and heading off on cruises whenever possible. Recently engaged, much of his spare time is now happily taken up with wedding planning.

When it comes to food, Michael says it’s all about the season. A roast dinner with all the trimmings is perfect on a rainy day — but when the sun’s out, a BBQ with burgers, sausages, and grilled corn on the cob is the go-to favourite.
