Looking to improve packaging
A big challenge the motorcycle and scooter tyre distributor were facing was their new shipping partner couldn’t accept the tyres from their existing heat shrink machine, as the plastic was getting caught on the conveyors as it proceeded through the distribution network.
The tyre distributor was using a 60 micron virgin plastic for this process, and coupled with the fact that the machine was expensive and highly energy-consuming, meant they needed a different solution.

Horizontal wrapping machine CL 010 – 800
One of the cutting-edge machines we provided was the Wrapsolut CL010 800, running 17mu 30% recycled content film, thus not liable for Plastic Packaging Taxation (PPT).
This machine solved their previous wrapping quality issues, with a continuously adjustable braking roller that ensures an even film tension and guarantees high wrapping quality.
It is fully CE compliant and the results speak for themselves. Return on capital investment was measured in weeks.
