After returning and reflecting on the PPMA Show, at the NEC in Birmingham this year, we wanted to say what a fantastic event! We were thrilled to get the feedback: “Best stand of the show!” from a couple of stand visitors.
Gordian Strapping was the only exhibitor with a large, fully automated operational line. We were really proud to bring something completely unique to the show.
This year, the UK’s largest packaging machinery event had over 8,000 visitors and everyone who visited our stand was massively impressed!
Our expert team saw a significant number of enquiries regarding our automated systems on display. We had the cutting-edge PKG Discovery A stretch wrapper and OMS 08 Active vertical strapping machine up and running, which wowed visitors from far and wide.
If you missed our stand, our PKG Discovery A stretch wrapper is a compact, high performance turntable stretch wrapping machine. It is reliable and robust, ideal for efficiently wrapping pallets of various dimensions with stretch film.
Our OMS 08 Active is a versatile vertical strapping unit with a unique sword unit to penetrate the voids and allows the straps to secure the product to the pallet. It is fully automated, with twin-head and twin-sword models available to increase productivity and apply two vertical straps simultaneously.
We also had the pleasure of exhibiting more of our latest exceptional machines:
- StraPack SQ-800 running paper strapping
- StraPack RQ-8A FBZ fully automatic strapping machine
- Wrapsolut CL010-600 horizontal wrapper
Our Managing Director, Andrew Lea said: “We were delighted with the reception from the visitors at the show. It was great to experience so many customers and prospects expressing pleasure in seeing a fully automatic system in action.
“We’d like to say a massive thank you to our dedicated team and everyone who visited us, for making it such a successful and memorable event.”
Gordian Strapping are looking forward to exhibiting at the PPMA show again in 2024. We hope you can join us!
